Our Community

By using up-to-date knowledge from the beginning, BIC has been considered a pioneer in the industry, and by cooperating in the writing and applying of the national standards for gas burning equipment, BIC has made a big contribution to strengthening Iran’s industry culture. Year after year, the National Standards Organization has recognized BIC as a model in the industry. In 1995, BIC’s test lab was accredited. From 1996 to 1999, BIC was awarded the ISO 9002, ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and CE standards from reputable European companies.

In 2001, the Office of Environmental Protection presented BIC with its Green Industry Award, in recognition for BIC’s environmental conscious efforts. We believe in protecting the environment, from the beginning BIC and Butane Co.'s pioneering role in the LPG industry was partly due to LPG's environmental friendliness. This philosophy continues to be with us today and as a result BIC's concern for the environment play a role in our decision making process.

Our activities however are not limited to the environment and national industry standards, we also care about our community. Our commitment to our community requires that we go beyond simple checkbook philanthropy. We are working hand-in-hand with public and nonprofit organizations to help in many different areas ranging from education to disaster relief.
