Accredited Labs
In order to ensure quality BIG first established its water heater testing laboratory in 1971. In 1994, this lab was recognized as the first accredited lab in Iran by the Institute of Standards and Industrial Research of Iran (ISIRI), the official standards governing body in Iran. In 2007 with the implementation of the ISO/IEC 17025:2005 standard, this BIG lab was certified by the German certification company DAP as an internationally recognized accredited lab able to test water heaters based on the EN 26 standard. BIG has also established and operates the only accredited combi-boiler lab in Iran.
